Any progress with the pedestrian crossing at the new Super Valu Shop? asked Cllr Bobby Delaney. at the October meetin of Mountmellick Town Council.

Executive Council Engineer Dermot Leonard replied: “The ESB are trying to make the connection.”

Again in reply to Cllr Delaney, the Engineer said the pedestrian crossing at Davitt Road would be relocated shortly.
