Hedge removal on dangerous bends

HEDGES on dangerous bends at Donaghmore, Rathdowney are to be removed by the end of November.

Cllr John King asked for an update on the proposed hedge removal works at the September meeting of the Borris-in-Ossory electoral area committee and he was informed by Senior Executive Engineer Michael Malone, “We plan to commence this work before the end of September. The deadline is completion is the end of November.”
