Honour for Tidy Hero

Noreen Byrne from Ballacolla is to be honoured this month with a special presentation from Laois County Council, in recognition of her success in the Tidy Towns competiton.

The chairperson of the Laois Federatio was one of 12 volunteers nationwide to be made a Tidy Towns Hero award.

County Manager Peter Carey praised Noreen.

“We were delighted to see her get recognition, she is a stalwart for Tidy Towns.”
