Kilkenny stab victim was from Durrow
The young man who lost his life in St Luke’s hospital, Kilkenny after a stabbing incident in a city housing estate in the early hours of this morning was from Durrow and had been living in the rented accommodation a short time.
His name is not being released by gardai until all his relatives have been informed and have had an opportunity to come to grips with the shocking news. It is understood that a post mortem will be carried out on his body at Waterford Regional Hospital by a member of the State Pathologist team in Dublin.
Already flowers have been left at the entrance to the apartment block where the young man died.
