Main Street resurfacing

Portlaoise Main Street is to be resurfaced outside the Court House.

The works may be done in the evening to avoid disruption to business and court, says engineer Farhan Nasiem.

“That red section is completely disintegrating. We have had a lot of complaints,” said Cllr Caroline Dwane.

The section was previously done six or seven years ago, according to Mr Nasiem.
