Cllr Paddy Bracken: “A 2012 or 2013?”
Cllr Denis O’Mara: “The one here now would not pass the NCT.”
Chairman Cllr Pat Bowe: “The Gardai are very active and seem to be more active at the station as well. The visibility of Gardai is most important.”
Cllr Stephen Lynch: “I had to go up three times to the station before I would get a Gardai. At the end of the day, a set time for opening the station would be proper.”
Cllr Delaney climed the policing committee chairman had promised College Avenue residents to arrange a meeting within a fortnight.
Chairman Bowe: “The Gardai gave a commitment that they would be active down there.”
