PORTARLINGTON
St Patrick’s Day parade
It’s time to kick off the festivities for the parade this year. Theme this year is ‘The Gathering of the Clans’. What we hope to achieve with this is to get each schools, playschools, clubs and associations to get the kids and/or adults to write their family name on a placard and decorate it. If you know where the name originated from then write that down too. There will be a prize for the best one so whether you’re marching in the parade or just a spectator hold them up for all to see.
More committee members are also urgently needed. For further information please contact Margaret Guijt Lawlor at 087 6715668.
