Portlaoise Gardaí investigating discovery of man’s body in Ballickmoyler

Portlaoise Gardaí are investigating the discovery of the body of a male at a house in Ballickmoyler, Co Laois yesterday evening Sunday, September 9 at approximately 8pm.

The man (48 years) was discovered in the front room of the house.

The scene has been preserved and the services of the State Pathologist has been requested and is due to attend this morning.

No further information is available at this time.
