Red Lake Studios revamp

RED Lake Studios is situated a short distance outside Portlaoise and has been up and running for three years. Recently studio director Gary Duncan revamped the studio's equipment and website, upgrading with a new Digidesign D Command ES, Neve front end Pre Amps and additional Neumann Microphones.

The studio already houses top of the range equipment such as a Universal Audio UAD card, Waves Platinum, Waves SSL collection, Digidesign, Reason, Analog Factory, BFD, Reaktor, Guitar Rig, Izotope Trash, Izotope Ozone and Stylus RMX.

Director Gary Duncan has many years experience working in studios, working as an assistant engineer in Sun and Apollo in Temple Bar from 2002 to 2004, and working as a live engineer in the Dunamaise Arts Centre from 2003 to 2005.

The studio has hosted a wide variety of acts such as Wally, Avidiya, Whatever Jones, Hayley Ferreway, Breech, Nothing Majors, Shane Morrisey, The Petronas, Middle Of Nowhere, Twelve Gauge, Indium, No Punk Intended and Craic'd, and has a busy few months ahead with bookings from musical acts from across the country.
