Senator expresses concerns on reduced Garda resources

Local Labour Senator John Whelan expressed his concenrs in the Seand recently on Garda policing policy and reduced resources on foot of a Labour Senate group motion before the House.

The contribution was made before Friday’s murder of a Detective Adrian Donohoe in Louth and Senator Whelan believes the issues and points raised arre more pertinent and more important than ever now.
