Busy weekend for MSL sides in SFAI Cup

A number of teams from the Midland Schoolboy/Girl League have progressed well through the SFAI Cups and they will be hoping to go further when they take to the field this weekend.

A number of teams from the Midland Schoolboy/Girl League have progressed well through the SFAI Cups and they will be hoping to go further when they take to the field this weekend.

In the U-12 Danone sponsorsed competition there are all MSL ties when Tullamore host Willow Pk while Birr Twn play the North Tipp side Killaviila and in the other tie Abbeyliex are at home to Liffey Valley.

The U-13 cup will see another all MSL tie again Tullamore are the hosts and Mullingar Ath are the oppostion. Portlaoise play Athy Town, Abbeyleix are away to Wicklow Rovers and fellow Laois side Clonaslee travel to either Shammrock Rovers or Naas.

In the U-14 cup, Tullamore are at home to either Ashford Rovers or Salllins. Emo, playing for the first time in the competition, are at home to Granada and on Sunday Portlaoise are away again versus Shankill A.

The U-15 sees Portlaoise at home to Granada and finally in the U-16 cup Tullamore host Abbeyleix, Birr play Edenderry Twn and Portlaoise make the short trip to play Kildare side Moone Celtic. Best of luck to all MSL teams.
