Dirty Blaggards on top in Street Soccer League

The Portlaoise Street Soccer League midway competition took place last Wednesday in a sunny Portlaoise Leisure Centre with eleven teams taking part.

The Portlaoise Street Soccer League midway competition took place last Wednesday in a sunny Portlaoise Leisure Centre with eleven teams taking part.

The competition fixtures were based on seeding teams from the current league table which was to ensure some exciting and competitive games.

The initial rounds of the competition were the lower teams in the league going head to head to try and qualify to play the higher seeded team and knock them into the qualification bracket.

With the current league leaders Kilminchy Rovers being knocked out by Dribbles Utd in round 3 the competition was throwing up some interesting results.
