Martina Dunne’s fortuitous early goal suggested that perhaps this was going to be the day that Laois finally ousted their fierce rivals, but Cork have seen and done it all before and once they settled into their game they showed just why they are the standard bearers with a dazzling display that left Joe Higgins’ brave side struggling in vain to keep in touch and the Rebelettes ran out comfortable winners to set up a final date with either Monaghan or Kerry.
