Laois Connects: Offaly's Niall McNamee talks about tackling adversity through sport

Overcoming Adversity Through Sport is the name of talk by by Offaly intercounty footballer Niall McNamee during Laois Connects.

Laois Sports Partnership are delighted to hosts the workshop on Sport & Wellbeing as part of their Active Communities initiative in Stradbally, Vicarstown & Timahoe.

Niall McNamee, a Gaelic footballer from Rhode, has won a number of titles with his club and has also represented Ireland in the International rules against Australia.

Niall has spoken openly about his gambling addiction and over the past number of years he has giving talks about how his involvement in sport has helped with his journey.

Niall will speak about the benefits of Sport on a person’s wellbeing. Niall has considerable experience in keynote speaking at a wide variety of Conferences and Events.
