Combat Kickboxing Laois hold an annual kickboxing grading once a year, and this is a big day for the club and its students.

The students of the club would have many months of preparation for this in learning all the various techniques required for there belt/grade. There is plenty of time and discipline for these preperations but a sense of achievement for students is a great reward.

Some of the students would have achieved their first yellow belt and others would have achieved grades up to green belt. The club is taught by coaches Tommy Delaney and Dave Harney and a high level is expected of all students, not just in technique but also discipline, in and out of the club.

Chief Instructor Vinnie Murphy comes down from Naas to grade our students and in this way they have to pass under Vinnie’s experience and knowledge of kickboxing.

We are very proud of all the students who passed and all are growing in a positive way towards there Black Belts. Some students are only starting and some are halfway there but it gives them a great goal in life, and is something that cannot be taken but achieved.

Our kickboxing club stays open through the summer to keep our students active and we also hold our summer camp which is great fun for all. Any enquiries about the club please contact Tommy on 085-1158606 or contact us on Facebook at Combat Kickboxing Laois.
