There’s another double dose of the best live music in town at Lethean this weekend, with Station 65 and Radio Nowhere lined up to play at this popular Portlaoise venue.
First up, this Friday, October 14, Station 65 will be playing at the pub on the town’s Main Street.
Station 65 are an exciting new band based in Portlaoise with big plans for the future.
The line up, consisting of Dave Morrissey, Niall Harney, Paul Flynn and Dillan Hughes, has already proven to be explosively energetic on stage over the past few weeks when the band got together for a few casual shows.
Then on Saturday, October 15, Radio Nowhere will take to the stage.
Radio Nowhere are a local two piece Laois band made up of Barry Kelly and Tadgh Kirwan.
The energetic acoustic duo cover a wide range of genres including rock, pop and folk from the ‘60s to present.
Radio Nowhere are renowned for getting the crowd on their feet with their upbeat style and set list.
The boys have made quite a name for themselves in recent times, playing to packed houses at various venues across the county.
Radio Nowhere will be kicking off in Lethean at 10.30pm this Saturday, so the advice to music fans is to get in early to get a seat for what promises to be another rockin' night's entertainment.
