Life Church Portlaoise will be hosting ‘A journey to the Potter's House’, which is an illustrative parable that brings the gospel to life this Thursday, October 27, at 7pm.
Using the potter and his clay as a metaphor for the relationship between the faithful and their god, audiences will see what Jeremiah saw as he watched the potter take clay through various stages, fashioning it into a useful vessel.
This unique visual lesson illustrates how the idea of a god can help fashion one’s life into a vessel of beauty, and brings a better understanding to how faith can make a difference.
The message of the potter is a message of hope, love and redemption, so all are invited to enjoy this illustrated parable.
This special biblical event is presented by Dr Michael Ferris, an ordained minister. Michael weaves the lessons learned through his own brokenness and shares how the potter uses pressure and pain to transform the clay into vessels of honour.
The Life Church Portlaoise is located at A11, National Enterprise Park in Portlaoise and the contact number is 085 2723247.
This is a free event and open to the public.
