TIDY TOWNS

Please help keep the village clean and tidy. A reminder to those who park on the edge of the Green, please use bins provided and have some pride in your community.

FOROIGE

Foroige will meet back the first weekend in October, all interested please attend. We will be meeting from 8pm to 9.30pm every Friday evening. Admission is €2 per week and affiliation for insurance purposes is €20 per young person and €30 for a family. All new interested leaders please contact Roghan on 087 6813116.

TIMAHOE NS

Timahoe NS race night in Newbridge greyhound stadium on Friday, September 27 to raise funds to fit out the new classroom extension. Tickets are €15 school, or call 087 7443824. This promises to be a wonderful social occasion. Raffle on the night with lots of prizes. This will be the school’s fundraiser for the year. We do hope you will all support this worthy cause.

BENEFIT NIGHT

A benefit night in aid of St John’s oncology unit Children’s Hospital Crumlin, will be held on Friday September 20 in Timahoe Hall at 8.30pm. Admission is €10, music will be by Castlecomer male choir, Timahoe Folk Group and the contenders and the Ramblers. Please support this worthy event.

THE LATE TOMMY QUIGLEY

Condolences to the family of the late Tom Quigley of Corrigeen House, Timahoe, who died on September 6 at his home. Loving husband of Breda and beloved father of Tim, Robert, Jacinta and Tomás also deeply regretted sisters Sheila, Gertie, Alice and Louise, extended family, neighbours, relatives and friends.
