Condolences to the family of the late Josephy (Joey) Downey of Boleybawn, Ballinakill who died suddenly on September 6.Deeply regretted by his heartbroken parents Jackie and Maura, sister Cathy, brothers Michael, James and Sean, extended family, neighbours, relatives and many friends. Reposed at his residence, with removal to St Brigid’s Church, Ballinakill for funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in St Brigid’s Cemetery.
Walkers meet every morning at 9.30 am in the square for a walk around the Tea Rooms up to Heywood Gardens. All Welcome

VITA, Friends of Fr Doheny would like to sincerely thank all those involved in the annual fund-raising walk/run on August 9th. There was a great turn out of walkers and runners on the night. Local celebrities Mem Dunphy and Miss Kilkeeny kicked off the event and refreshments and entertainment rounded off the evening.
