DEBUT BOOK LAUNCH

Jason Finnerty is launching his debut fantasy novel ‘Fastian’ on Friday November 29 at 8 pm in the Heritage Centre. Light refreshments served, all welcome.

DELANEY PARK

Clonaslee Utd opened their temporary home pitch on November 16.  The club thanks all who contributed to getting the park ready, in particular Patrick Delaney. See GAA Digest in Sport for details.

CLONASLEE CCE

Set dancing resumes in January. Music classes 4.30 pm to 8pm on Thursday, in the Community Centre. Beginners welcome, instruments include tin whistle, fiddle, flute, button accordion, piano accordion, keyboard & banjo. €5 per class, payable weekly. Singing Saturdays 10 am to 11 am, beginners & advanced. Membership due adult €12, child €6 , family €20.

MUSIC AND SINGING

A music & singing session on Friday December 6 in the Parochial Hall, 8.30 to 11pm. All welcome especially singers and musicians.

SPONSORED WALK

Clonaslee branch CCE have a sponsored walk on Sunday December 1 at 11 am starting at the Parochial Hall.

BAKE SALE

A bake sale for the Parent Toddler group is on Saturday November 30 and Sunday Dec 1 after 8pm &10am masses in the Fr Shortall Room.

CHRISTMAS DINNER

Social Services Christmas Party on December 1 at 1pm in the Community Centre. Any locals who are eligible and over 65, call Chairman John Callaghan 087-613-2044. All welcome to enjoy a great day. Transport provided if needed. Music by Rock on Paddy.

Clonaslee Community Alert is setting up a text alert service, to be explained by a member of our Community Alert group. Boxing in the Community Centre for 8 – 14 years old on Tuesday & Thursday, 7 -8 pm.

Social Services bingo on Wednesdays from 2 – 4 pm in the Heritage Centre. Come along for bingo and a cuppa. Fun Family Bingo on the second & fourth Sunday of the month at 2:30pm in the Parish Hall. Cost €2.
