FEIS WINNER

Congrats to Roisin Hyland of Timahoe who competed in the Irish Open Feis 2013 in Ashbourne last Saturday and came 2nd place for her jig dancing with Lawless Dance Academy. Well done Roisin and her parents Sharon and Darren, Knocklaid, Timahoe.

GAA

Thanks to everyone for supporting or recent auction, the club are again indebted to the generosity of the local community. The AGM has been arranged for Saturday, December 7. Please all present and new members attend.

GYM

Thanks to all who supported the table quiz last Friday night for the proposed new gym. Membership for the gym is being currently sought.

FOROIGE

Met last Friday as normal, no leaders are required to ensure the effective smooth running if the club.

Would you have 1.5 hours a week to volunteer at the local Foroige club?

Please get in touch, get involved, and have fun.

ELDERLY

Please keep watch on the vulnerable and elderly in our village, ensure they have enough heat, food, company over the coming cold snap. A little offering never ends.

LIBRARY

Anyone with any interesting old information, photographs, or memorabilia fit for display in the Library please contact 087 6813116. The building has been leased to the Timahoe community Development and we have secured a lady on a TUS scheme for a number of hours per week with a view of establishing an interpretative/ visitors centre for the Round Tower and village as a whole.
