Free WEEE Ireland electrical and battery recycling morning supported by Laois County Council. All batteries recycled on the day will go towards the “Spread a Little Sunshine” campaign in aid of LauraLynn, Ireland’s Children’s Hospice. Takes place on the Town Sq, Rathdowney on Tues, February 4 from 9am- 12pm. .
Late Mary FITZGERALD
Condolences to the family of the late Mary Fitzgerald (née McDonald) of Church Street, Rathdowney, who passed away on January 24 paecefully at St Vincent’s Hospital, Mountmellick. Predeceased by husband Michael, her son Michael and her daughter Theresa, she is deeply regretted by her loving family, her son John and her daughters Jane, Mary and Bernie, extended family, relatives, kind neighbours and friends. Reposed at her residence. Removal to The Church of the Holy Trinity, Rathdowney for Funeral mass followed by burial in Bealady Cemetery.

GAA NEWS JUVENILE
The annual registration night will take place on Saturday February 8 between 7.30-9pm. Membership for the year is €20 per child and €40 for a family. There will be light refreshments served on the night so come along for a chat or if any new members have any questions they would like to ask the committee they will be there to give a helping hand.
IRISH CLASSES
