The GAA Scor Table Quiz is on February 22 in St Pauls School, Portlaoise.6.30pm registration and 7pm start. Open to all GAA members who are U17. Scór na Paisti is in April, for all GAA members in Primary School, so if you can sing, dance, play music, or recite this is for you. The Senior Scor is this month also. Call Margaret on 085 713 8940. St Patrick’s Parade

The Thatching Walk
The Rosenallis Development Assoc. recently re-thatched the well and small house in the amenity area. and are holding a Thatching walk on Sunday 16 February at 2pm to cover costs. The 7km walk will start at the thatched house and go towards Clonaslee turning left up Gorteen Hill , left towards the Green Road, left to Chapel Hill and back to the community centre for refreshments. Laois Walks Festival AGM is on Thursday February 6 in the Manor Hotel Abbeyleix, 7.30pm. All with an interest in walking or promoting walking in their locality is welcome.

Glenbarrow has received a face lift, paths have been upgraded to allow for pushchairs to freely travel to the Open rock area before the waterfall. New fencing has been added at the waterfall. Well done to all concerned, it will enable more people to enjoy the area.
O’ Moore’s Camogie
