Camross girl for Munster

A Laois camóige player is among ghree students from Colaiste Phobal Ros Cre to be selected for the Munster Interprovincial Camógie Team of 2014.

A Laois camóige player is among ghree students from Colaiste Phobal Ros Cre to be selected for the Munster Interprovincial Camógie Team of 2014.

Maeve Collier from Camross, Kelly Sammon and Christine Cleary, both from Shinrone, have all been selected.

The girls are very worthy of their selection and are ambassadors for camógie with their respective clubs and school.

The management and staff of Colaiste Phobal Ros Cre are extremely proud of the girls and would like to wish them every success in their camógie careers.

This is not the only acheivement in camógie for Colaiste Phobal Ros Cre in recent times.Their 2013 senior All-Ireland winning camógie team received an award for their successes at the Roscrea People of the Year Awards on January 21 in Abbey Hall, Roscrea.

The team captain Clodagh Shanahan accepted the award on behalf of the team. She thankedthanks to the people of Roscrea for the award, and to the camógie management and players of Colaiste Phobal Ros Cre.
