The Parish lotto jackpot is now heading for €14,600 and it would be lovely jackpot to win. On April 7 the jackpot was €14,300 and it was not won, small winners were €30 Eoin Clancy, €25 Trish Alley and €20 Gay Lalor. The lotto of Monday night April 22 will be in Dec’s Bar with a possible jackpot of €14,600. All tickets must be handed in before 9.30pm on the night of the draw to be included in that jackpot
Easter Egg Draw
The Harps Juvenile Committee will be running its annual Easter egg draw again this Easter and tickets will shortly be on sale from all juvenile committee members at €2 each. This is the major yearly fundraiser for the juvenile club and the support of all parents would be greatly appreciated. The draw will take place in O’Connell’s Bar, Cullohill on Easter Sunday night, April 20, in conjunction with a cabaret and your support on the night would also be greatly appreciated.
Stations of the Cross
The Stations of the Cross will take place in Dunmore Wood, Durrow on Good Friday April 18. Please assemble at 11.45 am. Stations begin at 12 noon, all are welcome
DURROW ARTS & CRAFTS EXHIBITION AND SALE

Anyone who wishes to travel by bus to the Flora Women’s Mini Marathon on June Bank Holiday Monday should give their name and a deposit of €10 to guarantee a seat. The Harps Camogie Club are holding a table quiz in Cullohill Community Centre on Friday night April 18 (Good Friday) at 9.pm Table of four €40. Loads of prizes and a great night is assured. Your support would be appreciated.
In the recent daffodil day collection in the Cullohill area the sum of €2,878 was raised. The organisers wish to thank everyone who contributed in any way to this worthy cause.
The mobile unit of the Irish Blood Transfusion Service will visit Durrow on Thursday April 24, 2014 from 4.30pm to 8pm. The venue is Castle Arms Hotel. With over 3000 units of blood donations needed every week in Ireland we appeal to everyone who can donate to come to the Castle Arms Hotel and donate blood. Your donation can and will give the gift of life to someone in need. New donors are always welcome and lapsed donors are also encouraged to come.

Ossory Cycling Club
OCC, have two big cycling events coming up in the next few weeks. On Sunday April 20 (Easter Sunday) the club is hosting four cycling race in Rathdowney. Two men’s and two women’s. Start time will be 1pm sharp. Estimated finish time 3.30pm. There will be some traffic disruptions during these races. All residents along route will be notified.
