The church gate collection for the Portlaoise branch of the Laois Branch Irish Wheelchair Association takes place over the Easter Weekend, Saturday and Sunday, April 19 & 20 next.
The Anual General Meeting of the Laois Branch of the Irish Wheelchair Association took place recently.
The following officers were elected: Chairman Patsy Lane; Vice chairman Eugene Lacey; Secretary Anna May Dunne; Treasurer Maura O’Brien; Pro Paddy Connolly.
Meanwhile, a table quiz in aid of the Laois branch will be held in the Community Centre Clonaslee on Friday, April 18 next commencing at 9pm.
