Courtwood GAA club would like to thank all those involved in making our recent family fun day and The Canal 5K such a huge success once again. A particular word of thanks to St Michael’s AC, Portarlington for their help with the planning and organisation of the 5K. Congrats also to the men’s race winner, local lad John Fenlon, who won the race for the first time. The women’s race was a Ballyroan-Abbeyleix AC 1-2-3 with Grace McConnell retaining her title from last year.
Courtwood GAA club wishes to acknowledge the very generous sponsorship to the club recently from Jimmy McLoughlin of Rosie and Jim Gourmet Foods. Club players were recently presented with their new gear bags and all prize money for the recent Canal 5K was also courtesy of Rosie and Jim.
