The Late Bridie Brophy

The Late Bridie Brophy

The death has taken place of Bridget (Bridie) Brophy (nee Saunders) of Russellstown, Attanagh, Co. Laois. She passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 23 at St Luke’s Hospital Kilkenny. A down to earth, dilligent, quiet lady, Bridie’s passing greatly saddened all who knew her. She worked for many years in local businesses and was well known and respected. She is deeply regretted by her husband Michael (Sonny), sisters Margaret, Molly, Alice, Julie and Kitty, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She reposed at her sister Kitty Moore’s residence, Ballyconra, Ballyragget from Saturday August 23 last until the following Monday when removal took place to the Church of the Assumption, Ballyouskill for requiem mass followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Deepest sympathy is extended to all her family, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace.

We extend deepest sympathy to Martin Kelly and Bridog Kelly, Attanagh on the recent death of Martin’s father Eugene Kelly of St Joseph’s, Railway Road, Gorey, Co. Wexford. May he rest in peace.
