Clonaslee College AGM
The AGM of Clonaslee College Parents Association will be held in the school on Tuesday 11th November @ 8pm. We would encourage all parents to attend.
Welcome to the 23 new Junior Infants – Lucy, Lilly Mae, Niamh, Mary-Kate, Ronan, Sarah, Rebecca, Amy, Lilly, Ashleen, Conor, James, Maggie, Dylan, Tyler, Callum, Isaac, Katie, Lauren, Faye, Eimear, Clara and Ryan. Parents Association AGM was on October 14. The new committee are Clare Mahon (Chairperson) Lucinda Mooney (Secretary) Dolores Hyland (Treasurer). Class Reps were also voted on to the committee- Mary Maher, Barbara Sullivan, Regina Glancy, Regina Cuddy and Dineen Cuddy. Sincere thanks to outgoing Catherine Cuddy and outgoing Chairperson Ruth Farrell for all their hard work over the past three years. The children had a dress-up day and disco on October 24 with treats from the Parents’ Association.
In Cumann na mBunscol, both girls and boys teams did very well. The boys contested a semi-final while the girls got to the final beating Raheen. We are very proud of our teams. Sincere thanks to the GAA Coaches Andrew Poole and Seamus Hyland, referee Paul Friel, and parents for their help with transport and support.

Mountmellick Comhaltas AGM
At the recent AGM recently, the following were elected to the committee: Chair Margaret Culliton, Secretary Brenda O’Toole; Treasurer Yvonne Keady; Pro Mrs Mary B Culliton; Irish officer Mrs Mary B Culliton Delegates-Joan Culleton. In November we hope to run a Sean-Nos dancing workshop on Saturdays. €10 per person child or adult and it is on a first come basis. Limited to a max of 15 people.
