Babies Remembrance Mass
This Mass will be held in Holy Cross Church on Sunday, June 14 at 10.15am. If anyone wishes to add a patch to our remembrance quilt this year please design the patch for your baby on a piece of cloth measuring 6” x 6”. Patches can be handed into the parish office.
This quarterly collection takes place at all Masses next weekend. Envelopes available in boxes or alternatively special envelopes available at church doors. Your support, financial or otherwise is greatly appreciated.
Left for their annual summer holiday after 9am mass on Sunday morning and will return on Friday, June 12. We hope they all have an enjoyable and relaxing holiday.

‘The Kitchen’ run by St Clare’s Hospitality volunteers is now open at The Waterfront, Mill Lane, Carlow. The opening hours are from 12.30pm-3.30pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays (ideal family time from 1.30pm – 3.30pm) where a hot lunch is served. Lunches are free but a donation box is available should anyone wish to donate. Volunteers are essential to keep this service going. If you are interested and feel you could give a few hours per week please call into the centre or contact the parish office 0599141833.

If you are freeing up space in your wardrobe in advance of the summer why not donate your good quality clothes, shoes, bags and accessories to the Vincent’s shop 46 Tullow Street Carlow. Donations will be gratefully received in the shop from 10am to 5pm Monday to Saturday. The Society would like to thank everyone for supporting the shop over the past year.
Niall Melon Educate: Catherine Nolan will host a coffee morning in her home in Crossneen on Sat 13th June from 10.30am to 2.30pm. Proceeds are in aid of Niall Melon Educate. Catherine and Vera will travel to South Africa in November to help build schools. Contact Catherine on 086-8709846.
A meeting to help finalise the details of the Remembrance Mass for Babies will be held in the Parish Centre, tonight, Tuesday, June 9 from 8pm. The Mass itself will be celebrated in Holy Cross Killeshin on 14th June at 10.15am.
Secular Franciscan Order Pilgrimage to Knock will be on Sunday 28th June. Bus from Car Park at 8am, Frasers Petrol Station, Church St, Graiguecullen at 8.15am. Tickets €20 are available from The Friary Office, Dublin St and Lamberts Newsagents, Dublin St. All welcome.
