Ballyfin Parish Council presents a double bill of comedy plays written and directed by Frances Harney, and performed in the Mountmellick Arts Centre on Saturday March 21. “Scór or Score?” and will be followed by “Disorder in the Court”. Funds raised to new lights in St Fintan’s Church, Ballyfin. Intermission raffle to the Cuisle Centre, Portlaoise. Tickets from Fr Patrick Hennessy, PP, the Ballyfin Parish Pastoral Council, Ballyfin NS or The Deadman’s Inn.

Ballyfin Vintage

Due to poor weather the Ballyfin Vintage & Veteran Club cancelled their annual ploughing match in Coolnamona, Ballyfin for Sunday, March 1. Apologies for the inconvenience. This event will be re-scheduled so please check local notices. For more on the club call Enda Gilligan 087-9172375.


The Mountrath branch of Laois Heart Foundation monthly meeting in the Cosy Cafe on March 18 at 8pm.
