KILLESHIN FC LOTTO

There was no winner of the recent lotto jackpot. The numbers drawn were 07, 20, 26 and 30. The four lucky dip winners were Keith O’Rourke, Emma Burroughs, Mark O’Regan and Tom Hickey, each will receive €25 and the seller’s prize of €25 was won by Ian McDonald. The next jackpot stands at €6,000 and tickets can be purchased for €2 from any club member or from the local shop and public houses.

LOURDES INVALID FUND

Carlow Lions Club host social dancing in aid of Graiguecullen/Killeshin Lourdes Invalid Fund in Seven Oaks Hotel on Tuesday October 2 and admission is just €7. Tickets on sale in parish office and Thatch Bar.

A course for young readers will begin on Monday September 24 from 7 to 8pm in parish centre and will run for four Monday nights. Any secondary student who would like to become a reader in our churches is welcome to attend.

Coping with Loss

Talk by Rita Kelly, Graiguecullen Parish Centre (St Claire’s Church), Graiguecullen, Thursday September 20 at 8pm. This talk is an informal talk. A lot of people have been affected by bereavement in their lives and this is talk about how to cope with this. Everyone is welcome.
