Sincere sympathy to Mary Cuddy Bacca on the death of her mother Mrs. Ryan whose funeral took place last week-end. She had resided with Mary in recent times but her funeral took place in her home place.

Camross GAA Club AGM

Camross GAA Club will hold its AGM on Friday December 14 in the Club meeting rooms in Derrynaseera at 8pm

Turfcutters’Association AGM

The above organisation will be holding their Annual General Meeting in Camross Parish Hall on Thursday 29th November at 8pm.All those interested in continuing turfcutting on Coolrain Bog are welcome to attend.

Camross Dance

The Camross dance will take place on Saturday December 1 in the Community hall. The band on the night will be ‘Dreamers’. Also on the night will be a free christmas raffle.

Clothes collection

There will be a clothes collection in aid of the Fr Paddy Hyland mission fund, on Wednesday November 28 at Killanure and Camross schools. All unwanted items of clothing are welcome. Clothes can be left at both schools on Monday November 26, Tuesday November 27 and Wednesday November 28.

Comhaltas AGM

Camross CCE branch are having their AGM on Thursday November 29 in Camross Hall at 8.30pm. Any outstanding membership should be paid on the night. We hope all parents of children attending classes will come along on the night as this is a nice way for all parents to meet up and find out what activities are planned for the coming year. We recently held our very successful Stephen Conroy Workshop Music Weekend and concert. Thanks to all the Comhaltas Branches who supported us and to our own committee for organising this event. Thanks to all our members for all the branch activities during the year.
