Rejuvenation of the Town Square
Durrow Development Forum are delighted to announce that planning permission has been granted for work to commence on the rejuvenation of the town square. This project has been in the pipeline for years and it is great despite the poor economic climate that this project costing over €750,000 gets the go-ahead. It’s a major boost to the town. Thanks to Laois Partnership, Laois County Council and the many County Councilors who gave this project such support. It is hoped that work would commence before the end of the year and will take a few months to complete. Durrow Development Forum will be running a few fund raising events to help provide the community share of the costs. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
