Portarlington Active Retirement Association/Happy Hearts Club reopened after the Christmas break on Friday January 11. The club will continue each Friday at 2pm in the community centre. New members are very welcome. Please contact Anne at 057 8643727 or Mary at 057 8623881 for further details.

Dirty old Towns
The DOT committee have not been shortlisted for the Aontas Awards, but we would really like to thank Marek Plewa for nominating us. We really appreciate his kindness, and we also thank Marek for his voluntary contribution during the work on Arlington House. He was so committed to the project.

O’Dempseys Juvenile AGM takes place on Thursday January 17 at 8pm in the clubhouse. New rule regarding compulsive wearing of mouth guards will be discussed. All parents should attend this very important meeting.
