The gym in the GAA field is available to join and it equipped with all popular gym equipment.
So if you want a work out why not join up, start with four laps of a walk or run outside the wire of the pitch, that's roughly a mile. It’s a safe option.
The centre will be reopen after the Christmas break on January 17.
Please call in if your passing and learn some of the rich heritage we have in the village.
The annual report we received last year stated that Timahoe has serious potential to do well in the competition, and it complemented the efforts of those involved.
Hopefully more will get involved as the evenings get longer, the sense of civic pride seems to fading in rural Ireland and we hope that it has not already nor will it ever visit our village.
So if you’re up for a challenge a few hours a week to help your community then please get involved.
As the saying going, your village needs you.
