The annual Swan Field Day, organised jointly by the Swan Development Committee and Wolfhill Athletic FC, takes place on Sunday 28 August. Please support this event. The money raised goes directly towards the maintenance of the Swan Community Hall and the village’s sports facilities. It is imperative that our children have safe and well-maintained outdoor facilities to use for their enjoyment, and you can help to ensure this by assisting at and supporting the field day. We need help to run the following: paintballing, pony rides, big buzzer, spin the wheel, catch the egg, guess the weight of the sheep, pony and trap rides, lucky dip, golf challenge, mouse races, pony drop and much more. There will be something for everyone to enjoy. We are looking for musical acts, and now is an opportunity to showcase your talent. Refreshments on the day and raffle and entertainment in the Swan Inn that night. Please contact John at 087-9027560, or any committee member.
