The residents of the Laois town that hosts the Electric Picnic are being asked to given their annual feedback on the event.

After this year's event, all Stradbally residents are asked for their feedback on the 2016 edition , both positive and negative.

Also all clubs, charities and associations in the area are invited to apply for funding, which will come from proceeds of residents tickets, highlighting, if successful, how funding might be spent.

The final date for applications is Friday, October 21. Please address said applications to Martin Mahon (secretary), 19 Woodview or Rita Pullan (Delaney), 31 Cill Beag Manor, both Stradbally.

This year the Electric Picnic organisers donated €65,000 to St. Colman's National School, Stradbally for the purchase of land to extend the school's sports ground.
