A FUNDRAISING day will be held in Stradbally in aid of Multiple Sclerosis Ireland on Friday, April 28.
The fundraiser is being organised by the Scully family and friends as Stradbally native Tara Scully suffers with MS. Tara was diagnosed with MS at age 15 and is now about to turn 26 years old. Her sister Lisa who is helping with the events said, “it has been a hard journey for Tara, including having her daughter so we all want to give back for everything that’s been done for her.”
The three main pubs in the town are taking part, as are a number of local people and plenty of businesses have come on board and sponsored raffle prizes. As well as the pub event, there will also be pyjama days and jersey days in the local schools, and a collection for the charity. All support would be greatly appreciated and everyone is welcome to come along on the night. The day includes a darts tournament night with a DJ and raffle in Ramsbottom’s pub in Stradbally.
