The Durrow Vintage Club Ltd are hosting their annual show this Sunday, April 22 at the same location as last year on the Cork Road.

This will be the 10th Annual rally and this year the organisters have a special display of pre 1930 Vintage Cars and Motorcycles – some of them already entered include a 1901 De Dion Bouton, 1909 Ford Model T, 1914 Buick, 1919 Citroen, 1926 Austin 7 and 1929 Morris Cowley to name but a few.

There will be a large display of vintage tractors, cars, motorbikes and stationary engines together with ten steam engines one of these which is travelling from Northern Ireland – 1919 Wallis and Stevens Steam Engine.

This event has something for everyone of every age. There will be plenty of attractions to keep people entertained throughout the day. There will be around 60 autojumble stalls on site, vintage display, a display of custom hot rod cars, and a fairground organ playing tunes of yester year and a dog show.

New to the show this year the top tractor build teams in the country will demonstrate the Irish Vintage Scene Tractor Build. This is a timed event on assembling a dismantled Ferguson 20 tractor from start to finish in under 10 minutes. It’s well worth viewing.

In order to keep our traffic plan working efficiently we would ask exhibitors to be on site before 12 noon. Gates open to the public at 9am.

Cost of entry to the General public is €5 per person and children under 14 years is free.

All proceeds from this event goes to local charities in the Laois Area.
