AS part of their ongoing fundraising, the Durrow Development Forum have organised a night with a difference, with their version of Strictly Come Dancing.

Strictly Come Dancing is coming soon but need some help first. Those interested in taking part in the very first Durrow Strictly Come Dancing can come along on Wednesday, April 18 at the Library in Durrow to hear more and give their input.

All of these events raise money to help improve the village and organisers are hoping that people will come out to help make the night one not to forget. Contact Evelyn at 087 9194428 or Sarah at 086 2290714 for further information.

Plans are also well on their way for the annual All Ireland Scarecrow festival, which organisers hope to make bigger and better than ever this year. The festival will run from Saturday July 28 until Monday August 6. This would be a great time to invite family and friends back home to Durrow for such a fun event. People are already thinking of ideas for their scarecrows and organisers are guaranting a great week for all. To find out more, visit www.durrowvillage.com and keep reading the Leinster Express.
