Vintage poker Rally
Abbeyleix Vintage & Classic Club is hosting a charity event with a difference next Sunday September 9. Participants in the Poker Run will receive a playing card at each of five designated stops on this years run in aid of Abbeyleix Hospital. On their return to base at the Manor Hotel in Abbeyleix the winning hand will receive a prize. Starts from the Abbeyleix Manor Hotel at 10.30am. The group will be re-opening after the August break on September 6 at 2pm in the Respond Centre at Gort na Noir. Lots of exciting events and trips planned for the autumn and winter. New members always welcome.

Little Treasurers will be back from Wednesday September 12, 10am in Fr Breen Park, €3 per family. We have secured a grant from LCCC, which has been used to get a new kitchen, new shop, play food, kids tables and lots more.
