Camross National School reopened during the past week and on Sunday the school took part in every aspect of the mass, with little preperation they sang, played music, did the readings, prayers of the faithful, carried up the gifts, did the prayers after Holy Communion perfectly. We hope that this will continue as it means so much to have the children interested as they were on Sunday. So well done to everyone concerned and long may it continue.
Camross Vintage Club will be having a presentation night September 8 in the Camross Inn. All proceeds from the field day will be presented to the parish fund. There will be spot prizes on the night and music will be by Martin Delaney. A good night is assured.
There will be a church gate colletction next weekend for Camross scouts at masses in Camross and Killanure, your support would be greatly appreciated.
