Trick or Treat for Temple Street Hospital, Halloween fancy dress night in aid of Temple Street will be held on Friday November 1 in Headens Bar in Spink. Music by the Shakers and there will be lots of spot prizes on the night.

Vita - Friends of Fr. Doheny
Ballymartin native Father Kevin Doheny founded Vita in 1989. Originally called Refugee Trust International (RTI), Vita enables and empowers rural households and communities in Africa to build sustainable livelihoods. The AGM of the local committee will be held on Thursday October 31 at 8pm in the Community Hall in Ballyouskill. Committee members old and new are welcome to attend.
Active retirement continues every Wednesday in the Old School Community Hall, commencing at 1pm with dinner. All are welcome.

Late Michael Brannigan
Condolences to the family of the late Michael Brannigan of Low Hill, Ballinakill who died suddenly on Thursday, October 17. Beloved husband of Maura, loving father of Marie, Eddie, Gráinne and Alísh he is also sadly missed by his sisters, extended family, relatives and friends. Reposed at his residence with removal to the Church of the Assumption, Ballyouskill for funeral mass followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Donations if desired, to the Irish Heart Foundation.

Condolences to the family of the late Rev Fr Thomas (S.D.B.) formerly Salesians, Ballinakill who died on Sunday, October 20 peacefully at Abbot Close Nursing Home, Askeaton, Co. Limerick. Deeply regretted by his nephews, nieces, relatives many friends in Ireland and Britain and his Salesian Brothers. Reposed at the Salesian Community, Pallaskenry, Limerick followed by Removal to the College Chapel. Requiem mass tomorrow followed by burial afterwards in the Salesian Community Cemetery.
