Ballyfin Community Alert is hoping to set up a new rapid alert texting system in the area. The purpose of this system is to protect and safeguard the people in the community by increasing communication between the residents and An Garda Síochána via a text system. We are holding an open/information meeting in Monday, November 4 at 8pm in the community hall to explain how this system works.

Representatives from An Garda Síochána, Muintir na Tíre, Task Community Care and representatives from neighbouring Community Alert groups who have this system in place will attend on the night.
