Graigue Community Games Committee would like to invite all children who took part in the games this year to a special mass on Sunday 03 November in St Clare’s Church at 11.30am. The committee will be making a presentation to the children that represented their area and county at the national finals in Athlone. Community Games AGM will be held on Tuesday 05 November in GAA meeting room at 8pm. All welcome.
COMMUNION OF THE SICK
Frs John and Brian will bring Holy Communion to the sick and housebound on this Tuesday and Wednesday 29/30 October.
St Clare’s Children’s Choir practice on Monday nights from 4.30pm to 5.30pm in Parish Centre, please note change of time. Choir is open to all primary school children and First year in secondary school.
Parish Youth Choir practice each from 12.45pm to 2pm. The choir is open to all secondary school students and young adults. Musicians are also very welcome.
CHILDREN’S LITURGY OF THE WORD
The Sunday school after the 11.30am mass in St Clare’s. Invited are all children aged between four years and first class to take part. The aim is to introduce the children to the mass by taking part in activities appropriate to their age. The children will leave at the start of mass and will be supervised by adults and students from our second level schools. The children will return to mass at the ‘Our Father’.

FEAST OF ALL SAINTS
This Friday 01 November is a holy day of obligation. Mass in St Clare’s at 11.30am and 7.30pm and mass in Holy Cross at 10.15am. Please note there will be no vigil mass on Thursday evening.

Next Saturday 02 November is the Feast of all Souls, mass at 10am in St Clare’s.
This Friday 01 November being the Feast of all Saints and a holy day of obligation the penitential service will be during the 10am mass on Thursday 31 October.
THURSDAY MORNING CLUB
Thursday Morning Club has resumed after 10am mass in St Clare’s. Parishioners are invited into the parish centre after mass for a cuppa and a chat.
Bingo every Tuesday night at 8.30pm in Graiguecullen Hall. Great money to be won on the night. Jackpot now stands at €2,130 in 50 numbers. Check on double number and win €880.
Next meeting on Monday 04 November from 7 to 8.30pm in the Parish Centre. All parents presenting their child for baptism during the next few months are requested to attend one of the meetings.

NOVEMBER DEAD LIST
The names of the faithful departed who parishioners would like remembered and prayed for during November can be handed into the Parish office or placed in the November Sacred Space. A sheet and envelope are provided in the box of church envelopes and all loved ones who have died will be remember at all our masses during November.
There was no jackpot winner in the recent draw. The numbers drawn were 05, 07, 15 and 27. Next jackpot €10,000, Reserve €10,000.
