Tidy Towns meeting on Tuesday March 3 at 8:30 pm in the Community Centre. Please note change of date. We would like to see a representative from each house in the village and also business people. This meeting is to plan projects national entry this year. We welcome all ideas.
The monthly CCDA meeting is on Monday March 9 at 8:30 pm in the Community Centre. This is open to everyone from our community.

TheAnnual Drama Festival runs in Mountmellick from March 6-13. Plays at 8 pm each night. Season tickets are €50, nightly tickets are €10 with concession €5.
Clonaslee Comhaltas have a second music teacher with classes starting at 6 pm on Thursday in the Community Centre. The instruments being taught are tin whistle, banjo, mandolin, concertina, fiddle and button accordion. The classes are beginner classes for children and adults; class fee is €6 weekly. A big welcome to past pupil Reece Steele who is on work experience. Reece is a Third Level IT Student and will spend the next three weeks at our school where he will be giving instruction in computers and IT. Many thanks to all in the school community who helped Fr. O’Reilly in welcoming the Sacred Heart Tullamore Senior Choir to the local church for the celebration of the mass last Sunday. Thanks to parents who helped with the catering/reception after Mass. Confirmation candidates enjoyed their retreat in Castletown on February 23 as part of their preparation for Confirmation on March 24.
