TIDY TOWNS

Mountrath Tidy Towns committee will be very busy over the coming months with The Litter Challenge, National Tidy Towns and Laois Tidy Towns, to name but a few, to keep them busy. The Thursday 7 o’clock litter pickup is going well, thanks to all our volunteers throughout the town who can be relied upon to keep their own area clean along with helping their neighbours as well. Our town’s traders are doing great work in keeping their premises tidy in all seasons and it is much appreciated. Some of our Tidy Towns committee will be calling on our traders over the coming weeks to collect funding which will go towards keeping the town beautiful for the summer and in to winter. All donations are used for this purpose and are very much appreciated
