Raheen ICA guild recently held their first meeting after the summer break. A vote of sympathy was passed with guild president Mary Delaney on the death of her brother Jim Flanagan. All correspondence was read and three members agreed to go to the next federation meeting, which will be held in Cullahill. The raffle was won by Millie Lalor-Fitzpatrick. Whist continues in ICA hall Raheen every Wednesday night at 9pm. Next meeting will take place on October 8.

Late Teresa moffitt
Condolences to the family of the late Teresa Moffitt (née Finlay) of Raheen, who died Peacefully at her son Joe’s residence on September 25 in the loving care of her family. Sadly missed by her loving husband Jimmy, sons Joe, Michael, and PJ, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposed at her son Joe’s home with funeral mass in the Sacred Hearth Church, The Hollow, with burial afterwards in St Fintan’s Cemetery Raheen.
