A word of thanks to all who supported the recent ‘Sponsor A Tree’ Fundraiser. All donations collected have been put to good use with hedging planted recently on the approach road from Durrow. Thanks also to all the volunteers who helped with the work over the last two Saturdays and to all who supplied machinery as well as to those who donated top soil. At the recent AGM this was identified as a key project and as the hedge matures it will add greatly to the village. Other work areas are planned coming out of the AGM with all involved working to make further progress from the great work started last January. Paschal Bergin continues as Chairman to the group with Noel Delaney the secretary and Joe Dollard the treasurer.
